British Baseball Society is a promotion/relegation OOTP league set in the United Kingdom!

We feature three tiers of competion along with tier cups and a league wide Busby Cup!

Sir Matt Busby's Cup

The Busby Cup is a competition that involves all 24 clubs in the BBS hierarchy. All contests are home/home series. Split series are broken by using aggregate runs first. Should that not break the tie, road runs is tiebreaker #2. If the tie remains unbroken at that point, a one game playoff is scheduled.

Round 1 - All 8 Tier 3 clubs.

Round 2 - Rd 1 winners + 4 random Tier 2 clubs

Round 3 - Rd 2 winners + 4 remaining Tier 2 clubs

Round 4 - Rd 3 winners + 4 random Tier 1 clubs

Round 5 - Rd 4 winners + 4 remaining Tier 1 clubs

Round 6 - R5 winners face of in the semi-finals

Round 7 - The Busby Cup is awarded to its champion

All Busby Cup contests are on a home/home basis (drawn randomly) with the tiebreakers as described above determining the winner of a split series.
Busby Cup Trophy

Winners receive the Busby Cup in their team trophy case and 10,000 dollars for the victory. Moreso, however, is the pride involved in being the Union Cup holders for the entire next season.

BBS Tier Cups

The BBS Tier Cups are competitions amongst the members of each Tier. The 8 clubs are drawn randomly and face off in the first round. Winners advance to the semi-finals where they are again drawn randomly. Tier Cup finalists face off for their respective Tier Cup trophy in the final month of the season. Aggregate runs is the first tiebreaker in a split series followed by road runs, if needed. Should all tiebreakers be exhausted and no winner determined, a one game playoff will be scheduled.

Round 1 - All 8 tier clubs randomly drawn.

Round 2 - Round 1 winners face off in the semis.

Round 3 - Tier Cup finalists face off for the trophy.

Fans at Victoria Park witnessed Leeds White Rose blank Granite Aberdeen behind a superb effort by Cedric Maddison. Maddison allowed 4 hits.

AC Roman Outlane's Matthew Gray pitched superbly in blanking Swansea 1158 9-0, allowing 4 hits.This year Gray has a 7-2 record and 2.55 ERA.
